Why are people making a big deal out the Presidents "bowing" Incident?

People are dumb enough to make a big deal out of anything. They made a big deal out of the president swatting a fly. They made a big deal about the dress his wife wore. They made a big deal about the color of his skin. People think anything is a big deal because they are simple-minded and entertained by petty and irrelevant things.
