Pleasee help me with history?

Not too Hard...Remember, In England (and most of Europe) Kings, Dukes, Lords, Princes..and generally all of the Kings Relatives owned most of the land...By own I mean controlled every aspect...Hunting, Fishing, resources, farming...all the things you need to hunt or gather food...The little guy wasn't able to survive...he became a Virtual slave to the "Lords and Masters"...People who owned land were consider somebody...So why not come over to America where they were giving away free land...Own land...You were somebody and you could work for yourself..not for some lord...You could fish, hunt, plant, etc...without permission from some king...So as more people came over for land...The US expanded it's territory to accomidate them...Good Luck
