Do I incorporate or do I file for a trademark? Which comes first?

I am in the process of opening up a business. I've done the standard trademark search and it came back good (no results found). Do I file the trademark under my name or do I incorporate and than file under the company name? I'm a bit confused. Please help. Thank you.
