What are some good ways to empower women relative to men in our society today?

This world is not about women vs. men. It's about equality under the law, and equal opportunity. Women should be allowed to make their own life choices, be it business or housewife, and be made as aware of their choices as any person. I don't think it's the same "power" struggle as it was during the women's movements for enfranchisement. As long as women are given the same opportunities and paid the same as men for the same work, there's no problem.
